ASSN and its affiliates strive to deepen the concept of African SSR through sustained research and publication. This effort is pursued through collaborative engagement between ASSN, its affiliate institutions, individual members, continental partners, global peer networks and other associates. Research and publication also fosters dialogue, lesson learning and agenda setting for African SSR.

Our online Document library contains a diverse collection of African SSR literature, published by the ASSN and its network members, partners and friends. We also have material from external sources that is relevant to African SSR.   Our documents are grouped as follows:

Publications: These are documents on African SSR, which have been written, published or edited by ASSN.

Document Library: This is a general online library containing documents published by our peers and other organisations, which we help disseminate with their permission.

Bulletin of Security Governance: This is ASSN’s planned electronic newsletter, focusing on the latest developments in African security and SSR. It will be available in due course.
