On Friday, September 30, 2022, the 3-day annual planning workshop organized by the Just Future Alliance (JFA) ended in Accra, Ghana.
During the three days, participants worked on plans for the year 2023 covering the three outcome areas of the project : accountable security, justice and inclusive governance for all.
The workshop was attended by participants from Search for Common Ground (SfCG), Cordaid, Women’s International Peace Centre (WIPC), West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), African Security Sector Network (ASSN) and their local partner organizations.
JFA is a consortium led by Cordaid and consisting of 6 established CSOs and networks from the Global North and South. The JFA worked to strengthen the capacity of CSOs in a number of fragile and conflict-affected states and enable their collective action to bring about more inclusive and peaceful societies, inspired in large part by the vision of SDG16+.
The programme is implemented across 6 countries : Afghanistan, Burundi, DRC, Mali, Niger and South Sudan, as well as at the regional and global level, with generous funding from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Communique de presse – Atelier international de planification – Alliance pour un Avenir Juste
Pendant ces trois jours, sur la base des trois domaines de résultats du projet (la sécurité responsable, la justice et la gouvernance inclusive pour tous), les participants ont travaillé sur les plans pour l’année 2023
Ont pris part à l’atelier, Search for Common Ground (SfCG), Cordaid, Women’s International Peace Centre (WIPC), West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), le Reseau Africain pour le Secteur de Sécurité (ASSN) et leurs organisations locales partenaires.
La JFA est un consortium dirigé par Cordaid et composé de 6 OSC. La JFA a pour objectif de renforcer les capacités des OSC dans un certain nombre d’États fragiles et touchés par des conflits et de permettre leur action collective pour faire émerger des sociétés plus inclusives et pacifiques, inspirées en grande partie par la vision de l’ODD16+.
Le programme est mis en œuvre dans 6 pays : Afghanistan, Burundi, RDC, Mali, Niger et Soudan du Sud, ainsi qu’au niveau régional et mondial, avec un financement du ministère néerlandais des Affaires étrangères.
